Welcome to the Norfolk and Suffolk Marquees and Lighting website. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions

– “Company” refers to Norfolk and Suffolk Marquees and Lighting.
– “Client” refers to the individual or entity hiring our services.
– “Services” includes the hire of marquees, lighting, firepits, bunting, and any other associated services offered by the Company.

2. Booking and Payment

2.1 A booking is considered confirmed only when a deposit of 30% of the total hire fee has been received. The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before the event date.

2.2 Payments can be made via bank transfer or other methods as specified by the Company.

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 Cancellations must be made in writing to the Company.

3.2 If a cancellation occurs more than 30 days before the event, a full refund of the deposit will be issued.

3.3 If cancellation occurs between 14 and 30 days before the event, 50% of the deposit will be retained.

3.4 No refund will be issued for cancellations made less than 14 days before the event.

4. Delivery and Set-Up

4.1 The Company will deliver and set up the equipment at the agreed location and time.

4.2 The Client is responsible for ensuring that access to the site is available and that any necessary permissions have been obtained.

5. Responsibilities

5.1 The Client agrees to ensure that all hired items are used in a safe manner and in accordance with any provided instructions.

5.2 The Client is responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of equipment during the hire period, and will be charged for repair or replacement costs.

6. Liability

6.1 The Company is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of our services.

6.2 The Client indemnifies the Company against any claims, losses, or damages incurred as a result of their use of the equipment.

7. Force Majeure

The Company shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, or governmental restrictions.

8. Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

9. Changes to Terms

The Company reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
